Parents & Grandparents (PGP) Sponsorship

The Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) is a sponsorship program in Canada that allows Canadian citizens and permanent residents to sponsor their parents and grandparents to come to Canada as permanent residents. To be eligible to sponsor your parents and grandparents through the PGP, you must be at least 18 years old and be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. You must also meet certain financial requirements, which vary depending on the number of people you are sponsoring.

The process for sponsoring your parents and grandparents through the PGP involves submitting an interest to sponsor form, which is used to assess the demand for sponsorship spots each year. If you are invited to apply to the PGP based on your interest to sponsor form, you will need to complete and submit the sponsorship application and the permanent residence application.

The sponsorship application is used to determine whether you are eligible to sponsor your parents and grandparents, and includes information about your financial situation and your relationship with the individuals you are sponsoring. The permanent residence application is used to assess the eligibility of your parents and grandparents to immigrate to Canada as permanent residents.

It is important to carefully review and complete both applications, as any errors or omissions could delay the processing of your sponsorship application. Therefore contact us today to learn more about our parents and grandparents sponsorship services and to begin your journey to reunite your family in Canada. Our team is dedicated to helping you navigate the process and bring your loved ones to Canada as soon as possible.
